This is a private commission that I finished recently. The client requested a performance magic themed painting so I created this piece of a magician producing a dove, inspired by some of J. C. Leyendecker's arrow collar illustrations from the last century.

wonderful! i love the contrast in this one
This is stunning! Your lighting is incredible.
I love how you've created an extraordinary sense of light and movement with just a few extra brush strokes.
Just Remember that ... It;s a grand illusion, Deep Inside we're all the same!
Seriously, this is amazing
please give that man a cookie.
This reminded me of the Prestige. Beautiful work.
So beautiful... !!!
I love that strong strokes. Great light.
I love this sort of thing and I love Leyendecker. Nice job my friend
The striking colors and fluidity of both the magician, dove and paint is stunning.
There's such a wonderful sense of movement on the dove's wings. Lovey.
Unique visual! GREAT JOB!!!
Beautiful work, I love those loose strokes.
this is so beautiful * o *
Really cool looking! Nice work!
Great style, kudos
FABULOUS, that's all I can say.
Outstanding! I wondered why you chose to leave the smudge along the edge between the jacket and the shirt. Maybe these imprecise marks, as well as the brush strokes at the bottom, serve to keep a painterly feeling rather than a photorealism feeling.
I like that there is a lot of movement.
wowowooww Stunning work
I really love that dove!
Fantastic job! Really well done!
God damnit! AMAZIIIIIIIIIING
My god! Youre a painting genius!! I imagine you painting these works in a fever, jumping from place to place on the canvas, using 50% technique and 50% intuition. such lovely work!!!
that is Sooooooooooooo juicy. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. I love the way the painting looks so sharp, while each stroke looks rough. Not an easy thing to do
The strokes make this look amazing!
This is so eye catching! ^^
